DIY Tank

This is a quick and dirty tank.
I am building a DIY greenhouse and needed a lot of tanks CHEAP.
It is made out of 3/4″ plywood and 1/8″ plastic used for shower stalls.
You can build it to whatever size you need.
Easy to cut holes wherever you need them.

The best part is that nothing has to be perfect.
The outer plywood box is just for structural strength!
The inner plastic box needs to be cut close but any oops can and will be covered with caulking.
The tank above is 4′ x 2′ x 1′.
Total cost of the tank above was less than $30.00
Sheet of 4′ x 8′ plywood $23.51
Sheet of 4′ x 8′ plastic

DTY pvc greenhouse

This is a DTY type of greenhouse. I made out of 1″ PVC.
It is more of an experiment then amything else.
It is made from 1″ PVC and “T” to connect it all together.
When is done it will be around 8′ by 12′ not very big but enough for what I want it try out.
This DIY PVC greenhouse took 40 to 60 mph winds with no problem!
During the summer keeping it cool was not hard a couple of fans did the trick. During the summer the corals and frags grew like mad.

The hard part it keeping it WARM in the winter.
I could not find a cheap way to keep the temp up.
The night got COLD and there was not enough thermal mass to make that big of an inpact.
